Biography

Valerie Jordan graduated from King University with her Master’s in Nursing. She has a vast knowledge of Obstetrics which she has accumulated as a labor and delivery nurse for many years. She holds a certification in Obstetrics, specializing in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care. She had worked side by side with Dr. Walker delivering babies and caring for pregnant women at Parkwest Medical Center for 14 years. Parkwest Women’s Specialists had an opening for a new provider, and we are honored that Valerie accepted the position in 2019. Here, Valerie continues to care for those pregnant and now can also care for patients in all stages of life, not just pregnancy. She considers herself to be blessed to be working her dream job in her dream location.

Valerie became interested in women’s health early in her career. She believes women are the heart and soul of a family. She wants to empower women to take care of themselves, so that they may experience life to the fullest. Valerie states, as a healthcare provider, she has the opportunity to not only care for the patients’ physical body but also their mental well=being. The most rewarding part of her career is seeing change and evolution in her patients’ lives. Each stage of life represents its own challenges, and she is blessed to help her patients navigate those challenges.
